I have been a stay-at-home mother to six children for the past 17 years in Birmingham, AL. Four years ago, my children all started "real school" and I was able to dive deeper into my art. I fell in love with the vibrant colors of alcohol ink.
I come from a long line of artists going back to my 4th great-grandmother. I have been selling locally for several years at the Grand Bohemian Art Gallery and Lamb's Ear, both located in Mountain Brook, and Tricia's Treasures in Homewood.
My medium of choice is alcohol ink. I like to use my ink on various surfaces including Yupo paper, Gessobord, canvas, and glass. I use an airbrush, heat gun & paintbrush to achieve each style. I enjoy working with resin, gold leaf, and gouache. I generally work in the world of abstract, and I am inspired by nature as I created each piece of art. I love to bring a splash of color and joy into each client's home.
