I love exploring the endless possibilities of landscapes, particularly the coast. I am drawn to the edge of two worlds, where land and water meet in part because I’ve lived most of my life on a coast. When not painting landscapes, I hone my practice and understanding of color and light with simple household still life's. Finding beauty in the simple and mundane. Creating visual interest with simple objects like the common house plant or fruit.

Ultimately, finding beauty in the ordinary has always been my focus. I am drawn to the subtle beauty of house plants, bends, a simple still life, the natural world and of course edges.
