As an emerging, self taught artist, I mostly use acrylic paints to imagine a lively and playful world of color and unexpected composition. I love to use spring pastel tones to evoke joy and inspire a sense of possibility, resilience, and rejuvenation, similar to what I experience as both a painter and a mother.
Through my work, I have discovered new depths within myself, exploring everything from different textures to mixed media and up-cycled painting materials to my own changing emotions as I work. With each piece I create, I hope to encourage other women, artists, and mothers to feel free, worthy, and aware of the beauty within and around them. Most of all, I hope each viewer is able to take a moment for self-discovery, healing, and childlike joy when they engage with my work.
